Hi, everyone! I am back again to share my long drive journey from North to South. Since we have already been unemployed for 3 weeks and stay home do nothing why we just start our journey and travel around while waiting for a job? Yea working holiday is always one of my must-do lists since 19 years old (cry! so old now) which I am proud of myself that I did it. After packing our luggage and say bye-bye to the lovely landlord from Napier, then we start our journey early morning. The first station is from Napier to Wellington. It's a 315KM away and spending four hours drive all the way to Wellington. We planned to explore the town so everyone was agreed to stay a night here.

Before we head to Wellington we did stop at Palmerston North Rose Garden to have a break and have a look to the rose. Unfortunately, the weather is not good and not the right timing so not much to see but for sure we will be back again real soon. If you guys really want to go can check up their website. We did shoot some pictures but it shows nothing special. So Sad! After the Rose Garden continue to drive downward to Wellington. Before departure, we already well research that there is a Malaysia Cuisine name Little Penang. We really craved for Malaysian food for a decade so this time really the best timing to hunt for the home country dishes! All the way from Palmerston North to Wellington took us 2 hours. While reached Wellington then stuck in the jam. This is something that I really don't like the big city. Yea we straight away drive to the town hunt for food!

Yea! So we are here with the food now. Actually, the portions quite huge for us. We ordered Nasi Lemak, Chao Kuey Teow, Prawn Mee, Teh Tarik, and kuih share for 4 persons. Here you will ask, how was it? delicious? Nice? Expensive? For the taste, I can say the best in NZ, quite nice and delicious but the drinks Teh Tarik not rich enough. Total price for all this cost us NZD60.20. Okay, I know! Now you will convert back to RM and shock that this meal cost us RM180+. Stop doing that because I work here earn here and spend here. So don't convert. This restaurant quite good business during lunch time and dinner time, so better don't go at the peak hour yo!
After doing our lunch we then start to loitering around the town. Actually, nothing much special because of us quite tired already after a long journey drive. Basically Wellington just like Kuala Lumpur. Big City, Capital of the Country. A lot of big and high building and traffic jam too. I love their fashion sense here, everything was so trendy and fashionable. Everyone on the street just like a supermodel with catwalk. haha!

Above is some random picture I capture while walking around the street. I love Wellington for foods but I hate Wellington for been too commercialized. There is always two side, not too good, not too bad. Just enjoy every scene, it's part of my journey so have to bear with it. (Sound like not really willing to accept it) haha! While the stay I booked it through Airbnb. After back home takes a shower then we went out again for desserts hahaha!
Danny did the research and found that there is a waffle shop open until midnight! so we decided to give it a try to look for the nightlife. On that night was a coincidence that Rugby competition and the street is so happening! When we reached we found that really very long queue! My Goddess!

This is one of the famous Waffle you must try when you really drop by Wellington town. The look really not so special but the taste is really heaven! Okay I know is really not that exaggerated but really taste good so just drop by and try okay? We order 3 different flavours and share. I think the price is acceptable as it's really nice! Yea that all for Wellington Station! Next Station coming up soon! Stay Turn! If you wish to see our stay in Wellington please head over to HERE. Enjoy!

Great article and photos! If you get back to Wellington and it's a sunny day I'd recommend driving up to the Brooklyn Wind Turbine for a beautiful view! Wellington is known for its hills and pretty harbour.
