TransferWise

Hi there! Finally, I am back to this space! Sorry for leaving this space dead for weeks as I still in my Working Holiday at New Zealand and we (Total four of us) have decided to start our journey all the way from North to South. This is a really sudden plan that we make, all of the reason is that we have been unemployed for 3 weeks so why not we travel first and also look for a job at the same time, right? Yeah, so we have packed our luggage and started our journey since two weeks ago on 24th June 2017. I really want to update my blog but I found that the whole journey to South my phone show "No Service" on the signal bar. Oh well, I thought that the backpacker, Airbnb or Holiday Pack that we stay could have at least one I can access to the WIFI. Yet, they really provided with free WIFI for only 30 minutes. Yes, they must be kidding me.

Okay back to the topic! Now even I am in New Zealand still I have to pay my debt back in my home country. In Malaysia, whoever graduated from Diploma or Degree most of them actually have a study loan called PTPTN. It's a loan provided by the government for the young generation who need money for the study. Of course not all the students take the loan some of the family manage to pay for the fees so after graduating no worry at all because of no debt! But most of the students like me not so rich and not so poor in the middle range so we have to take up the loan. Yea, everyone who travel out to others country surely have a question in mind. How should I send money back to my home country? Instead of getting the friends or family to help you up you can actually do it yourself! But how?

During the working holiday period, I have been using TransferWise for more than 5 times. What I can comment was really efficient and safe. I can send money with worry-free. While comparing to bank their fees are cheaper and currency rate updates from time to time. If you are using bank usually they have hidden service fees and a fix currency rate. Sometimes the currency rate drop still you have to follow the rate that fixes by the bank. Since they have mobile apps too, for me the whole process is at my fingertips. just a few click not even 3 minutes when done. But for the money to reach our home country bank account need at least 3 to 4 working day yeah! So far using never face any problem but if yes you can always contact their customer service.

All you need to do is click on TransferWise and Sign up yourself. There is a currency tracker so you can keep track the rate until it reaches your desired figure! They support for worldwide so no worry if you want to send money from your country to others country or from others country transfer back to your own country. No problem at all, you will need Swift Code for all the bank. Which allows them to find out which bank you are sending off your money so here you go a Swift Code link for worldwide. After you done everything you are able to trace back your previous record and do a repeat transfer too! it's so convenient and I am loving it. I have also introduced to the friend around me.

If you found out that your country is not on the list, no worry you can always contact them as they are expanding their service to reach more people. Let them know and don't be shy! So far this is the only apps I use to transfer money without worry. Money is so sensitive and attractive so better be safe!
