wake up early in the morning hope for the good weather. While we step out from the backpacker and there! The sun brightens up the town. We are so happy that finally, we can leave Tekapo.
Quickly pack our luggage, check out and have some light breakfast then begin our journey to Ashburton. All the way from Tekapo to Ashburton took us roughly 2 hours for the 140KM drive. We decided to depart early because of the road still full of snow and we might drive at a very low speed. Safety is very important! Taadaa! The view from the Lakefront backpacker. Look at the sky!
The snowman builds by some stranger. While driving, the view along the road is so nice! The farm, the houses, the cars, the trees all fully covered by snow. I love winter time a lot because everything turns white. Everything with white colour only and it made the world simple and amazing. No more complicated mixture of colour. Just white!
Slowly we drove into a foggy road. So dangerous that you actually can't see clearly. Look at the weather. (Not my camera problem okay) Slowly drive through the foggy way soon we leave Tekapo and heading to our destination. Everything goes according to the plan today and we reached Ashburton on time to meet the new landlord. Thank god finally we ended our North to South journey. Of course, this is just a part of the journey. Because we still have lots of places haven't go yet. I wish I could fully cover the southern part of New Zealand. But no worry, another friend is coming to join me too. More to come! Let's see what we do next in Ashburton. See ya!
