Things to do in Dunedin

Hello! How is your day? Welcome to my space again! Today I am going to share on the topic of Things to do in Dunedin. Usually, while we are travelling (I think most of the people out there) we have a really short time for travel and very less of them could time a month leave for travel. While just a shortcut for you, I have summarised few places that you can fit in your itinerary while you are in Dunedin.

First of all, you could visit the Steepest Street in the world - Baldwin Street. When you are here you can see a lot of tourists here taking some weird photos. Yes, this street is actually a household street. People are actually staying here and their car can even drive up. We once tried to drive our car up but failed. End up we walked.

After satisfied with all your photos taken in Baldwin street then you can proceed to another attraction. Second attraction was a lookout point name Signal Hill. Yes, another hill again. But the view is stunning! You can have great photo spot there.

Don't be curious who help us to take pictures. We actually brought a tripod stand with us. So everything settles by our own Any angle can be done! You can bring some snack and take a short break over here while heading to the next attraction. The view is nice the wind is soft you can really enjoy hanging around this lookout point. Next, you can drop by the Railway station Dunedin.

This railway station actually they have tours too! You can purchase a ticket from the counter and there is 3 destination can be chosen. More information you can click here. But we are on a budget trip, so all of us just came inside to have photos as memories. After this railway station, we did walk to the Dunedin Town centre to have a lot for their most ancient train until the latest train. They have a train museum too. But I think it is not free.

They have a lot of beautiful church too! If you could drop by a 3 days 2-night trip over here is enough to cover everything! Besides that, you can go to Tunnel Beach too. When you reached Tunnel beach please don't be lazy just took photo from the top and lazy to walk down. You should walk down and there is a lot of photo-worthy spots that allows you to shoot a really stunning picture!

After Tunnel Beach you can head to town area to have a lunch break or proceed your journey to St Clair Beach to hunt for Seal. We are lucky enough, we found the seal sleeping safe and sound along the beach. Please be careful do not too near to the seal. They will not bite you but if they feel threatened they will attack.

We have a really great time with the seal. It continues sleeping and we move on to the next station! Otago Penisula (Hoopers Inlet). We actually spent quite some time to look for this. But its real location at somewhere further and not easy to find. Even GPS bring gone missing. But luckily you found this. Don't give up! and you will found it!

Yes! This is the one from New Zealand. Not Australia. I think if you really want to look for this you have to make sure your petrol is full. Because you might get lost in the farming area and spend some time to look for a way out. Next will be church tour! Of course, anyhow you have to visit their beautiful church right!

That's all for our trip in Dunedin. Next, we took a lunch and heading down to South again. We have Pizza as our lunch and surprisingly the pizza is heaven! Here you go with Poppa's Pizza!

The pizza seriously nice! Strongly recommended and the price is not expensive also. We order 2 pieces of Pizza and the portion just nice sharing with 4 persons. This is our last meal in Dunedin. After this, we then head down to southern part of New Zealand. I will see you next time! xoxo
