After left Oamaru, we drive all the way down to Dunedin. Along the journey, we found there is an attraction name Moeraki Boulders. Look at all the picture was really stunning so why not just drop by and have a break right!
The Moeraki Boulders are a group of very large spherical “stones” on Koekohe Beach near Moeraki on New Zealand’s Otago coast. These boulders are actually concretions that have been exposed through shoreline erosion from coastal cliffs that back the beach. The boulders are one of the most fascinating and popular attractions on the South Island. aid nature is so amazing! They originally formed in ancient sea floor sediments around 60 million years ago. Some of the boulders weigh several tonnes and are up to 3 metres in diameter! This is what we said nature is so amazing.

Believe it or not just to take photos here is so damn hard. As I mentioned earlier this is a tourist attraction so there are tourists of course. Everyone wants to take photos with the rock. Can you imagine that we actually spend 30 minutes here just for photos? There are so many china tourists from time to time and buses to buses drop by here just to take photos. I guess you can understand my feeling. Facepalm.
One thing is when you guys really want to drop by maybe can check for the tide table first. Because if the tide is too high you cant get near to the rock. The photos above are considered low tide but the water level going up soon. that is why if you manage to check tide table then you may stay longer and shoot the best photo of it.
After spending some time here, we then continue our journey to Dunedin! Finally!
