North to South (Part 6) – To Lake Tekapo

Hi, guys! I am back again for our journey. As you know the previous night we slept in the car. Just because we think that this is part of the journey experience so we must try at least once. Yes, we tried and we think that there is no next time. hahaha!
The weather during night time is really cold about -1 Celcius no kidding! Another reason is that we think we want to save some money as we spend quite a big portion of money on accommodation. Seriously no more next time, maybe Summertime. but not winter time. So, we woke up really early take a bath and have a light breakfast then leave to Queenstown town area.

Roughly 30minutes drive, we found a burger restaurant with a really long queue and look at the name its FergBurger! Freiburger is one of the famous burgers that you must have when you visit New Zealand! I and Shiwan quickly get down and queue for the burger while Wendall and Danny look for parking.

we order two burgers, a fries, and a drink share with 4 persons. The burgers are too huge for us seriously! Four of us are so full after the burger! I seriously fall in love with their milkshake! taste so good! Now I know why they have long queue always. They got really good business and we waited for almost 30 minutes to get our food. But then really worth waiting. After the burger, we then walked to beside and bought their ice cream. 

Gelato ice cream with Pistachio flavour is the best! Finally, I can have the same taste as what I ate back in Italy! Oh, my mama, I will definitely go back again for the burgers and ice cream. Unfortunately, it's raining day and we have not enough time to loitering around their town since we are in hurry to Lake Tekapo. As driving from Queenstown to Lake Tekapo took us 3 hours so we depart quite early from Queenstown. As its raining day cannot drive too fast too. When we reached Tekapo already night time 7 pm something. The sky is dark and we booked YHA for a night. That's all for today's post. Let's check it out what problem we face in Lake Tekapo.
